Pixel Art Effect

The Pixel Art Effect app lets you turn your photo into video game pixel art. The effect ranges from modern pixel art which has a more subtle pixelated effect (many small pixels) to retro pixel art which is made up of fewer larger pixels.

Step 1:

To convert your image, simply tap the "Select a Photo" button and choose a file that is in .jpg, .png or .gif format.

Step 2 (optional):

The pixel art maker has an optional outline type that can be set. The default is light and the other option is dark. This is the outline style used to draw the picture. The light option tries to match the original outlines of the image and the dark uses a black outline. If you're looking to achieve a more cartoonish look, the dark option is recommended.

If you look at the screenshots, the first 3 use the light outline and the other 3 use the dark outline.

Step 3:

Click the "Apply Effect" button.

After your picture has been pixelated, you can download it and if you'd like, you can upload it to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, VK or any other social network, forum or site and set the picture as a profile picture, cover photo etc.</br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br>
